OK - Let's Start With:  What Color Should Your Chinese Pagoda Bird Feeder Be - Red or Yellow?

Why such a ridiculous question you question?  Well, at the biginning of Spring my wife looked out the kitchen window of our Bass Lake home and declared "We need more yellow in our yard".  It seems we had some new "volunteer" mini yellow Pansies in a portion of the yard - the only yellow flowers present.  So, a few days later I got a bright idea - in a strategically perfect place we have a medium-size Chinese Pagoda wooden bird feeder that was a bright red in color.  I promptly removed it to the garage and proceeded to paint it - you guessed it - bright yellow - matched the Pansies perfectly.  Well, two week later, the Hummer feeder and three of those hanging socks full of thistle to feed mostly  Finch were all depleted - but I swear not one seed had left the Yellow Pagoda.  I gave it another week - nothing.  So, I returned it to the garage and repainted it the bright red - yep, they're eatin' seed again!  What gives?  I need to know - even though this Blog is all about nothing I know someone out there has the answer - please enlighten me.  Do Finch really prefer Red to Yellow, and why?  Now I'm goin' fishin'....

The Paul Henry Blog About Nothing is here for you.

Welcome - I am new to this so please bare with me.  I will be having lots to say about nothing - a lot like the Jerry Seinfeld Show which was promoted as a "Show About Nothing".  I hope you will join in with comments about absolutely nothing!  And away we go.......

Are we fishin' yet???!!
